Banned for avoiding ban?

Postby Playker » 30 Apr 2017 21:41

Hi team,

There should be an error.
I had been ban because I avoid banning? when I come to ban web, I see there is a first ban reason for not autojoining?
Secondone for avoid the first ban? Really?

First I always use autojoining, nevertheless I suppose this couldn't be a reason to be banned.
Second, I haven't avoid any ban, I just tried to entered the server.

Thanks for your help

hey playker,

let me explain to you what happend. at first i joined and snowstorm let me know that u where winjoining.
I have seen snowstorm a lot off time's on the server so i trust him on his words.
After that i paid attention to you. how u play, when a team wins if u winjoin. And exactly that is what happend.
we where at turnpike and u where in blue team from the begin. After red made several captures(they had more captures then blue) u decided to join spec and wait until u could join red team. So i decided it is fair to ban u for winjoining.

greetings

Hi Armina,

After reading your explanation, I understand you take a decision base on a value judgment of a third player.

When you see I join spectators, is because I am not able to play (ie: phonecall) and I ALWAYS use auto join when I return.
Additionally if you see yesterday numbers you will see I was in loosing team on most of games, so again I don't think that is a winjoiner.

I will really appreciate if anyone in Sexy CTF could confirm Armina's statements are align with server rules.

Thanks for your help

winjoin ?! hehe

force and lock could solve problem.

spectators shouldn't be kicked except auto kick or i don't know maybe 2 or more maps inactivity.

spectator place is made for watching, resting, idk... better then left bot inactive in game.

in your case winjoin, hm, maybe yes maybe no, its on you. maybe you left to eat, drink, bla bal bla... and use autojoin to return in game.
or....
you wait to empty place and use autojoin.

admin saw you join to winning team and decide to ban you.

After map change of course it doesn't make any sense at all.
I also think that force to spec is best option against winjoiners. Especially since admins can force them back to a team, when they like to play again. No need for a ban.

Well it's cool to have balanced teams at init of map, and not people trying to winjoin the better team, at least when they are good, if they are bad, they balance the teams.
So next time better to force lock him, or put a notice on him. So if he does it always maybe he deserves ban.
Have fun, and playker try to be fair.
